This photo was taken in the Bay Area. I used to live there, but now I'm just a visitor. I have many memories from here since I was a kid but it doesn't feel the same. Whenever I felt off or iffy I would just leave finding my adventures, which is why it connects to this year's theme.

DISNEYLAND! The land of adventure, where kids meet their wildest imaginations, live their best dreams and have loads of fun. This picture captures the beautiful energy and fun loving rides that people love. The bright lights that just makes you excited, and the roller coasters of enjoyment and fun! The place where families can spend time having fun and making good memories to look back on in the future.

The photo was taken at my high school and it relates to adventure because in this photo, you're looking at a plant through the lens ball, capturing it's focus on the plant. Looking through the lens ball and seeing this plant is showing how you can go on an adventure and find beauty in anything, even random plants. The lens ball emphasizes that.
Honorable Mention
This photo was taken outside with a lensball. This shows adventure because no matter the angle of the picture there's a lot going on.

This photo was taken at Interstate 10 at the Haugen-Lehman Way exit toward Railroad Avenue, Palm Springs in 2023. This photo personally relates to the theme "Adventure" because as I was taking it, it reminded me of when I would have my adventures in the past, being in the car with family and seeing the mountains in the distances or looking at the trains go past us carrying all those shipping containers that had me questioning what was in them. But now all I think about while looking at this photo is whether you like it or not, time flies. Every day is different, and life is an adventure. You can't set your path in life so just relax.

I chose the graveyard because life is a geat adventure. The adventure is started when you're born and ends when you're in the grave. The adventure has struggles but that is what is beautiful. On an adventure you lose people in your life, but you can also gain some. Although the end of the adventure isn't physically beautiful, it is mentally beautiful. The tombstone represents the end of your adventure.

The adventure teaches everything you need to know, you just need to take the right path. At the end of the adventure, the people who are there cared, and the ones who stay the longest or visit didn't want the adventure to end. Although when your adventure ends they can still continue on your adventure. Once you're in your final resting bed you can finally rest knowing that you have accomplished your adventure. The tombstone I chose belongs to Abner Weed. Abner Weed was a politician and a soldier. The tombstone shows the adventure of a politician, soldier and pioneer.

This photo was taken at my friend’s house. We were doing experiments for our science project. We were trying to open an apple cider vinegar bottle to measure its viscosity, but we could not. We decided to poke it with a straw, and it burst all over the place. We poured it into the measuring cup. I took the picture with her phone, choosing the lighting and placement. This photo relates to this year’s contest theme, “Adventure,” because we had a really big one right before this picture was taken. Let’s just say, we smelled like apple cider vinegar for the rest of the day.

Little Bird, you have such a large open space,
perched upon a rock formation in Arches National Park.
I wonder what adventures you have had.
Do you enjoy swooping over or under the arches?
I wish I could soar and see it like you.
I wonder what kind of adventures you have.
How much of the world have you seen?
Do you always fly over national parks?
Do you sometimes stop in the city to have a French fry or two?
I wish so much I could ask you what your days are like.
Oh, dear Little Bird, please tell me what your adventures are like.
Are they mysterious and exciting?
Are they silly and chill?
Could they possibly be death defying?!
Have you ever been chased by a bald eagle?
Do you have a plan to see every national park in the U.S., like me?
Or could you possibly just be passing through?
There is so much I wonder about your adventures!
I hope I soar just like you do…

This shows adventure because of imagination, the different ideas you can think of. The hiking trail we took to find this little hut was pretty fascinating, all the green and different colors. There are many things you can imagine while going in as a little kid. A kid's imagination is endless and that's the coolest thing about this.

Adventure can be traveling across the world to a new destination, going skydiving over the Atlantic Ocean, or rock climbing a 90-degree mountain on another continent. Adventure can be ANYWHERE! My photo represents adventure and that you can do anything by showing a map with a pinned point. Keep putting pins on your map and creating new adventures. My photo, also, is in color on the inside of two strings. I chose this to show that your life is an adventure and to shine everyday by just being you.

The photo was taken on a hiking trail in my county with a friend. The sky was beautiful and the trail was kind of abandoned or not taken care of for years, so it was very overgrown and beautiful. We climbed up to the top of the mountain to get a clear view of the sunset and clouds.

My family and I had an adventure in the mountains. We found a trail that led to a nature center there was a lot of snow so we started a snowball fight. After that, I went a little further up the mountain just to get nice pictures. For this picture, I had to bend my knee down to show that snow is melting and that spring is almost here.
