An adventure can be many things from going on a walk to skydiving. However, the things we do not consider are the adventures we do not see. For example, the adventures that our pets take everyday. My cats are able to take a multitude of mini adventures everyday. So, the next time you think about an adventure, imagine the animal adventures we cannot see for ourselves.

The Salton Sea is home to amazing bird life, art and the most beautiful sunrises in Southern California. There's a small town called Bombay Beach which has unique art installations upon the shore and in the water from artists all over the country. The early bird gets the worm if you are going to photograph this gorgeous town. Our adventure begins long before the sun rises as we chose the wardrobe for our photoshoot. This picture embraces the beauty of the sunrise and our welcoming a day of photography and endless adventures!

I went on a trip to Gypsy Cove on the Falkland island. There, I saw a colony of Gentoo penguins resting on the sand dunes after a long day of fishing and adventure. In the photo, a fuzzy baby Gentoo penguin walks across the colony.

Balancing yourself in life is not easy. Peace takes strength and determination. The photo is of a handball court, and the theme is depicted in my efforts to balance on a high wall. We test our limits when we go on an adventure and I thought this does a good job of showing that. Believe in yourself.

Let's go on an adventure! Let me guess the first thing you thought of was mountain climbing, skydiving or going on a road trip but for me something as simple as a walk is an adventure. You may be asking yourself, "How is a walk an adventure?" Well I have an answer for you! A walk is an adventure because you don't know who or what you'll find along the way. The adrenaline of not knowing what is going to happen in the next step you take is what makes the walk so exciting. Going on a quick walk can take you heavenly places never seen before which is why it's always good to take another step further.

On this morning there’s a beautiful morning fog that separates the trees and the moon was perfectly sitting above the mountains with the orange colors of the sunrise, but we already passes the opening and the tress surrounded us. My mom, being amazing, decides to detour from our usual route and drives up a narrow steep road to the top of a hill so that me and my sister can see this rare beautiful sighting. Only later did she convince to turn it into this photo contest.

The timeless and vibrant architecture takes us around the world to Europe. The pearl white waves sing to its visitors a lullaby. But overall, the scenery of Carmel defines beauty to not only be in appearance but in its significance, for you do not have to be a local to feel that this adventure is home and beyond anything one could’ve dreamed of.

On the way home, my mom pulled over and said let’s take pictures. I saw this dandelion. When you blow on the dandelion, the seeds scatter to different places. It’s like each one is having its own adventure. I blew on it after I took the picture.
