This photo relates to the them ""participate"", as my younger relatives are playing alongside each other at the beach, and I, for one, believe that this photo shows pure beauty in the joy of being with family, playing around, and just being carefree, despite the dark overtones that may surround us.

The strands of time intertwine
To create a loop, a knot, a thing of saccharine,
There it lies, a pure beauty created
A brightening energy fabricated,
It’s more illuminating than that of a thousand suns
As the playing of youth surely stuns,
To be that of unacquainted yet knowing of joy
To be that of abrasive to the world and showing coy,
Dancing along the lines of an unknown world
Splashing the tranquil waves with a rock and a hurl,
Engaging with those that have grown with you
Surrounding is that of the most serene hue,
Makes one reminiscent of their own time,
In which the busying world and life hadn’t interline,
And all that there was, was to enjoy that of life.

This photo was taken with my family and some of their friends at the ocean. We are all sharing a sunset. To me this relates to participate because we are all sharing the same moment together, participating in the moment. To me it is amazing that only one person is on their phone, not participating together.

This picture was taken on Friday the weekend before Martin Luther King Day. It shows the fourth graders walking around with their signs. I used this picture to show participation because I see that the kids are walking around the school in order to tell us that African Americans now have freedom and equal rights because of Martin Luther King Jr’s help. All of the kids are working together to share an important message that can make the world better.

This photo relates to the theme of participate because people come from all over to take part in sharing their dreams and wishes at a small local wishing tree. Everyone has a different wish but they all came together at the same place to share them.

I chose this picture because I went to Seaworld, and I had a very fun time. I was participating on a summer road trip with my family. I liked this picture because it looked really cool and the shark looked like Jaws. The shark was in the shark encounter zone. He was the biggest shark there. I really liked that my family and I could see a shark that big and close together. Going to places like Seaworld makes family participating fun for me.

When I was there I saw beautiful architecture and ate yummy food. I take photos from my travels to remember what every city is like and to recall how unique each place is.

Stadiums are known as places with large crowds of fans riveted to the action packed plays happening before them. But what happens when one famous band fills the stands and the field with fans who know every word of the songs about to be played before them. I took this photo at a concert which was part of a series of ballpark stadium tours. It is difficult to describe the feeling when over 35,000 people are gathered for one purpose, for one passion. The concert opened with one of their lesser known songs but that didn't stop the crowd from from singing along throughout the entire 150 minute concert until they brought the house down. 35,000 voices strong, strangers, who gathered together to show their passion and simply be a fan for one evening.
