I took this photo in the Redwoods in Santa Cruz California while on a coastal adventure. This photo relates to this year's theme of adventure because it portrays my exploration of the California Redwoods. The area was new to me, and it inspired my adventurous side. The train inspired me to travel and find new grounds. The tall trees and steam from the train create this anticipation of what else could be going on in this forest. I am very interested in nature photography and exploring unfamiliar locations.

I went on a hike with my friends during school. We went to Adobe Falls. I learned how to use a digital camera. I thought this photo was really cool compared to all of the others. Taking pictures is fun.

This photo gives the sense of adventure because the birds have no general direction. They are lost in the beauty of the earth, enjoying each others presence. The flock of birds truly understands freedom because they live everyday like its the last.

My photo was taken while I was camping up by Shaver Lake at Dinkey Creek, during the summer of 2023. It relates to the theme of adventure to me because being outdoors and spending time with family is something I enjoy and is always an adventure. We always try to go camping every summer so it has become something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to.

Ghost towns, like Calico, are a cool place to explore what is out there. The history shows what adventures were like in the past and give us new ones to travel. The hidden mines and caves are my favorite. The rocks and minerals found inside are so pretty. The dark holes inside are very scary. Adventures here never end.

This photo was taken at the park near the stairs that go to a small trail. It was a walking field trip but with friends and family. We saw a squirrel hoping all over the place. I think it was looking for food.
When it all comes down to a challenge...snakes, birds and worst of all, humans...they can all come and try to swoop in and get you (talking from the squirrels POV). Got to be fast or else.....

This gave the combo lighting effect. This photo is a high school graduate who is showing off her cap as well as her nails. When people think about graduating high school, they think about how their high school adventure ended and how the new adventure is starting. Whether it be college or work, A new adventure is starting.

I went to a city expecting to find amazing scenery of urban living, but I was very impressed by a piece of nature I found within the city. I found beauty within this piece, as it exemplifies nature's ability to find beauty within anything, even on a dead tree.
