This image was taken in Arizona at a wild animal park called "Out of Africa". Three lion cubs were born in captivity at the park and the handlers were responsible to bottle feed these babies every two hours until they were old enough to eat on their own. The phenomena of the birthing process blows my mind. This tiny lion cub will grow close to 425 lbs. Mother Nature is quite a phenomena and the fruit of her labor is breathtaking! Say hello to the cub Jabari resting comfortably in her handler's hands!

I was walking home when I noticed this and instantly wanted to take a photo. The phenomena happens when there isn't enough water to be absorbed and causes a cracking effect.

This was a self-portrait simply because when I made this picture it was very early in the morning and no one else was around. We would all love to be able to float in the air or else pick up various objects without actually touching them. So in my efforts to connect and engage my students I came up with the idea from everyone's favorite wizard, Harry Potter, and the spell which everyone knows "Wyngardium Leviosa".

This photo was taken on the bridge, and I thought that the background of the picture and the subject of the photo blended well. It was take at a low point of view, so that I would be at the same height as the subject in the photo.

This picture demonstrates “phenomena” because is it not everyday when you just go to the beach and the sun just looks so nice. The water so blue, and no one in the water.

I was shooting with a film camera and when walking down the walk, I saw what seemed like a doorway to the beach. It took me a second to realize that I was looking at a mirror. I thought it was funny. I really believed an unusual thing could occur and I decided I should shoot a photo of it.

This photo is a phenomenon that demonstrates the earth’s beautiful sunsets. Beautiful fluffy clouds surround the sky and show the earth’s ability to create breathtaking views everyday. This photo helps us feel more connected to the environment and it inspires us to enjoy what the world has to offer.

This image fits with the theme “phenomenon” because the contrast of the color is very bright and full of color. There is also a bee reviving energy from the nectar. My photo is very zoomed and focused on one thing while the rest is blurred, displaying one object as the main focus.

I used color and balance to take this picture. For example, many colors pop out and contrast each other, which boosts the portrayal to be more focused on one thing. Furthermore, unused balance to show how the bee is stabilizing on the flower and the direction where the wind is blowing. Lastly I added some value and texture to the flower and the bee.

School benches are one of the most controversial places in school. They can be a place where you have an amazing time with your fellow friends, or it could be a place where you could have a terrible day with one of your friends. This is what makes them so special to the school community during any time of the day. I truly hope this photo shows many memories of you sitting on a bench with your friends having a great or bad time.

Millions of years of evolution is seen just on the outside and you can see that the plant is there to protect what is inside and make sure no outside force will disturb it

As I was driving home, I suddenly heard loud screeching. As I looked around, I didn't see anything, but when I looked up, I saw hundreds of birds swarming in the air. I then pulled over in order to capture the event. I took the photograph on my phone, and I think this adds to the idea of phenomena because there is no way to prepare to see an event like this. I could not have known to have my camera with me, and this photo reflects using the resources I had in order to capture the phenomena. This photo relates to the theme of phenomena because it depicts the natural phenomena of birds swarming in order to change direction. Additionally, this photo reflects the contrast between a loud, chaotic phenomena in the air and the ordinary nature of the scene on the street. Many of the people driving on the street are on their everyday commute from work. The contrast between those people and the birds above reveals the unpredictable and irreverent nature of the birds swarming above.
