This photo was taken standing on a balcony of a home a block from the beach in Cayucos, California. I remember the day I took this, I was standing there listening to the sound of the waves, and I remember thinking of how much I wanted to visit and explore the world outside of California. I want to be a person who investigates crimes and places. I have always loved photography and this photo reminds me of the day I promised myself I would go out into the world and investigate life. I would like the judges to know that this may be a stretch in relation, but this photo means a lot personally, to me.
