Participate, now you may think that it is just another word that your teacher says when you work in a group, but it is a lot more than that. Think of all the awards you could have gotten that are "participation awards". Which brings me to Michael Jordan's quote about basketball, "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships." Now things about that, would you rather work by yourself and win sometimes, or work with others and win many championships? Now back to the word participate, think of it as working as a team to get to something bigger like a basketball game. If someone isn't trying hard or doing their best, then there is a chance that you can lose. But if everyone is participating then you will have a bigger change of winning the game.
