Fires burn
The hillside all gray
Dead plants start to decay
But this plant…
It’s returning to see another day

When I was hiking, I noticed that all around me, there were burnt trees and dead shrubs. Then, there was a singular bright green plant, growing in the center of a patch of burnt plants. This represents resilience to me because this plant was able to grow, even after pretty much the whole area got completely burnt.
