While walking along the dark streets of San Francisco, I was in front of intricate statues and came across a rather odd one. As I went under it, I saw the most beautiful design using humble pieces such as boards and nails. This mesmerizing structure made me feel as if I had escaped the world I was in at the time. After chaotic incidents such as COVID-19, the Russian-Ukrainian War, and more, it seems as if the world is spiraling downward. However, the escape that this structure offered me gave me motivation and the will to face the world today.
