With my image, I aim to shine light on mountain biking and how participating in the sport can bring happiness and beautiful scenery. My shot captures two riders in the moment, having a great time with little on their mind. In the moment, the riders are stress free and without responsibility. While relieving stress, you get to have fun and enjoy time with your friends. The scenery can tell a whole other story of how the image came to be. The angle is unique in the way it captures both riders in the air. I am really happy how this shot turned out and hope to take more photos in the future.

Yosemite National Park is beautiful and precious to all who appreciate the exquisiteness and fragility of nature. I had the opportunity to take this photograph in Yosemite National Park. It captures the spectacular Sierra Nevada Mountains and forests that surround us in its autumn glory. I am in awe each time I get to visit this overwhelming paradise.
In photographing Yosemite, the urge to preserve it overtakes me. We need to work together and participate in keeping this majestic gem, Yosemite, clean and pristine for all to enjoy and experience. It behooves us all to participate in maintaining this lovely setting, by doing our part in helping to keep the environment clean, by staying on trails and not plowing through meadows on a whim, by not littering and throwing wrappers on the ground and endangering the wildlife with plastic pollution, and by taking personal and community responsibility for the gift we have been given.

Different elements of nature participate with each other in different ways. On this faraway beach, the sea and the sky participate to make this wonderful place to escape reality. The water and the animals in the sea participate with each other to create a habitable environment for the animals. The wind and the ocean participate with each other to create waves endlessly crashing down on the rocky shore. The colors of the water, the rocks, and the sky participate with each other to create a picturesque scenery. These elements can represent us as humans and they show us that we are all participants in the continuing cycle of life.

The atmosphere of parties, loud noise, and bright neon lights, a man stands between a food court and a bowling alley. This man soon takes on the new challenge of bowling. Never done before, and never willing to try, the environment of the bowling alley, with all his friends pushing him to try. One step, two steps, three steps, release! There he goes, feeling the excitement travel through him as he gets a strike, on his first ever bowl. From this one experience, he goes bowling every month to feel that excitement he once found from trying.
