To me it is amazing that only one person is on their phone, not participating together.

This picture was taken on Friday the weekend before Martin Luther King Day. It shows the fourth graders walking around with their signs. I used this picture to show participation because I see that the kids are walking around the school in order to tell us that African Americans now have freedom and equal rights because of Martin Luther King Jr’s help. All of the kids are working together to share an important message that can make the world better.

I chose this picture because I went to Seaworld, and I had a very fun time. I was participating on a summer road trip with my family. I liked this picture because it looked really cool and the shark looked like Jaws. The shark was in the shark encounter zone. He was the biggest shark there. I really liked that my family and I could see a shark that big and close together. Going to places like Seaworld makes family participating fun for me.

"The picture that I took was a picture of my cousin doing a kick flip off a little wooden box. I took this picture because it seemed like the right photo to take and tie into the theme of participate. Skating is one of my hobbies and I wanted to see if I could capture someone mid-air on a skateboard. I took this picture with my phone camera around noon. I used Photoshop a little bit just to crop it and turn it black and white. I feel like the timing was pretty good, and I did not get too much movement in the picture.
This photo ties in with the theme of participate because skateboarding is a very hard sport and you need to have good coordination. What I am basically saying is that participating is a factor in skateboarding. Participating is important in every team sport but also in skateboarding. This is why I took a picture of skateboarding, and these are the reasons that skateboarding ties in with the theme of participate."

During ski week, I went to Big Bear and noticed that if you really take a look around, everything you do is participating in one thing or another. As you can tell by the collage of pictures I put together, I participated in the snow activities. The picture on the far left shows excitement and the thrill that went through me sledding down the hill. The picture on the top right shows the awe that I felt from the snow. Lastly, the picture on the bottom right shows the happiness I felt. Overall, I learned that participating is anything and everything and can make you feel any emotion possible.

I took this photo in Big Bear Lake. at 7:31 AM. I took this picture right as I woke up and saw the aftermath of one of the biggest snowstorms to hit Big Bear Lake this season. This can relate to the theme of participation since I woke up at 7:30 to take a picture same as my mom and my brother.
