My photo relates to the topic of phenomena because it demonstrates the beauty of our world that is right in front of us, but can easily be ignored or overlooked because humans are used to it and have such busy lives that they begin to forget about the beauty of this world that we were born into. A BEACH SUNSET
A beach sunset demonstrates many things
It shows tranquility
A sense of peace
The balance of sea and sky
All with our beautiful sun in the middle

It is one of many beauties in nature
It is on our earth,

I took this photograph in a small village in Austria, where we go every summer. My family and I have a tradition where we hike up the tallest mountain in the village until we reach the cave where I took this photo. The picture represents phenomena because the foreground is filled with a green, summery landscape, and in the far background, you can see a jagged mountain covered in snow. The two extremes give a stark contrast, while at the same time complement one another.
A Cold Summer's Day
I took this photograph in a small village in Austria, where we go every summer. "I took this picture in the morning. I chose the morning because the morning is when all of the bees and birds are out in my backyard. It is also when the flowers, plants and grass look fresh. When I was outside I saw my cat looking out the window watching the bees pollinate flowers and the birds flying. Then I took the picture from outside the window creating the glare in the picture.
I titled this picture “A Curious Mind” because this picture made me wonder: What is she looking at? Why is she so focused? This picture represents the theme “Phenomena'' because it makes you wonder. What is happening? What is the cat watching? The phenomenon of curiosity drives us in life. It makes us want to learn and know more. Without curiosity where would we be in life? Who would cure diseases? Who would invent? Who would explore? Who would figure out what is edible and not edible? Who would find out how to purify water and other necessities we need to survive?
Curiosity drives our mind. They say curiosity killed the cat but that cat wouldn’t survive without its own curiosity and the curiosity of others. Curiosity is a phenomena because it has no limits."

When I visited Japan last summer, one of the things I had to complete on my bucket list was to ride the Shinkansen, Japan's bullet train. Luckily enough, I had the chance to ride it when going to Kyoto from Tokyo, hence why I took this photo. I went to the cabin entry door and took a picture of a view outside the window. I chose to use this photo from my recent travels to Japan, because I am fascinated by the technology and efforts the Japanese pulled into launching the most successful bullet train in the world.
I believe it is "phenomenal" in itself that train technology has advanced so far. Considering the train was moving at speeds above 200mph, it's insane that I was able to capture a diversity of the Japanese countryside, some hills, and a view outside the window itself. It still amazes me to this day that I was able to ride on a technological marvel.

For example, I chose my cloud photo because no one will be able to take that same exact photo. Someone could get a similar photo, but not the same. I think my photo represents phenomena because I promise you that you will never get this same photo again.

The sky is normally blue, but one fine morning, I caught it white ! Yes, it looked like a white, warm blanket to cover the trees, the earth.
The sky has been my favorite topic to study. I love looking at it especially around sunrise and sunset. There are lots of colors: pink, orange, purple, but I have never seen the clouds covering the whole sky so beautifully.
The formation of clouds is a natural phenomena, looking like layers. Just touching the trees was worth clicking.
I am just 9 years old. My parents used to click my pictures when I was a little baby. They would click me all the time and that's how my interest in photography started developing. Now I click and they become my models. I click everything that appeals to me: birds, trees, flowers, moon, sky.

A White Blanket
The sky is normally blue, but one fine morning, I caught it white ! Yes, it looked like a white, warm blanket to cover the trees, the earth.

I took the photo through the glass of my shower door in my bathroom. The printed images were placed behind the glass and drops of water in front. You are your own biggest critic. You can become aware of that but there is nothing you can do to change it, like looking through glass but never being able to pass through it. No matter how hard you try, no amount of tears or pain can ever soften the harshness of your own judgement upon yourself. You can never wash away what lies beneath the surface of your mind. Everyone will once become aware of this though it seems hard or impossible to come up wth an explanation as to why.

Isn’t it amazing how a little insect like this helps pollinate flowers to make whole meadows? I watched this little guy start as a caterpillar, turn into a chrysalis, and hatch into the butterfly it is now.
