This is a picture of my dog in my backyard. I think this picture shows adventure because my dog is still so young that everything is an adventure and new to him. He was playing in my backyard and having a lot of fun. He was exploring every part of my back yard. Even when he is playing all by himself, he always finds a way to have an adventure.

These moving mechanical structures are built to transform individuals to experience every up and down, twist and turn of the ride, similar to the unique journey of life we undergo. In addition, riders can face obstacles and become stuck in a ride but surpass them. It could be through the assistance of others or through trusting yourself and being resilient. Amusement rides represent the pacing we choose to progress our adventure in. We could advance with persistence on a rollercoaster one day or find ourselves on something slow and steady, like a Ferris wheel the next. Whichever adventure we choose to embrace, we will inevitably reach the destination meant for us.
The radiant colors bestowed on each particular seat of the ride define that each personal journey accepts the equivalent amount of ups and downs that life unfolds to the individual. It is ultimately up to the individual to line up and show up every day to let the ride take them on their experience in part of what it has in store for their adventure.

This relates to the theme of adventure because I decided to take a trip to this school even with the weather not being the best, highlighting how I am willing to endure setbacks to have a good time and ultimately to travel a journey, while putting myself out there.
This photograph was taken in our driveway at home. My son loves to run up and down the driveway on rainy days and jump in all of the puddles. On this day in particular it was time for his cars to go on a road trip adventure down the driveway to get mail. Of course the driver had to traverse through all of the steep hills and huge lakes created by the rain. I love watching my son as he lets his imagination run wild on extraordinary adventures. He turns ordinary tasks into grand adventures!

The ski lift whirls around and sweeps me off my feet. Sailing through the air, the lift takes us higher and higher up the snow-covered mountain. We're in California, but this isn't a movie set; yet, we sit under the limelight of the sun shining down on us. Today is my first time learning how to snowboard. Most of the other kids are taking snowboarding lessons on the bunny slopes, but for me, I'm riding up the ski lift to the top of China Peak alongside my father. Nervously, I think, "Maybe I should have started on the bunny slopes," but no. I wanted to see the world from the top of the mountain! This is my adventure; this is my California.

I took this photo when I was taking a walk at my boyfriend’s grandma's house. She has a lot of property to take walks on and it feels like an adventure. It was taken recently at the time of the Super Bowl, and I wanted to take a walk before the game started. It looked like it was going to rain but the weather fooled people. When I took this picture it was blocked off by a gate and I went around the gate. There was a bridge that you go through and it's where I took this image. I stood on the edge to get the best view. I took multiple shots but this was the best because it included the sky that looked more full in the picture. It's an image where I see myself sitting there in silence and thinking in my own world.
