The photo was taken at a watershed close to a park. The center subject gazing off into the distance/mountains relates to a long journey ahead or in this case, adventure. This is supposed to give off a bit of an imaginative feel of wonder that connects to experiences in an adventure.

When you hear the word Adventure, you might think of a path leading into a forest, or a child playing with his toys, however, a sword may not always come to mind when thinking of adventure. I chose a sword to be my subject because it can represent power and bravery it also represents a hero and the journey the hero takes, battling evil and overcoming different challenges and obstacles. The sword symbolizes courage. Every swing may not only be a sign of battle but also a step into conquering the unknown.

This photo was taken in the Bay Area. I used to live there, but now I'm just a visitor. I have many memories from here since I was a kid but it doesn't feel the same. Whenever I felt off or iffy I would just leave finding my adventures, which is why it connects to this year's theme.

This photo was taken at Interstate 10 at the Haugen-Lehman Way exit toward Railroad Avenue, Palm Springs in 2023. This photo personally relates to the theme "Adventure" because as I was taking it, it reminded me of when I would have my adventures in the past, being in the car with family and seeing the mountains in the distances or looking at the trains go past us carrying all those shipping containers that had me questioning what was in them. But now all I think about while looking at this photo is whether you like it or not, time flies. Every day is different, and life is an adventure. You can't set your path in life so just relax.
