Sometimes we overlook the small things. Walking to the store, calling our friends, and more. A spoke is a good example of a small thing. It can be a discovery, a spark of creativity, and more importantly, an adventure. Riding a bike is a small adventure that many people can forget about. It's good to take life slow and enjoy the small things that it has to offer.

Adventure can be found anywhere: in the mountains, out in the country, and even where you live. It may be just walking around your town or biking to a place with a view like I did. Adventures are all about exploring and having fun, so as long as you have those two things, anything, even a daily walk, can be considered an adventure. This photo was taken at my high school's track during a sunset this winter, as I was practicing sprints with a friend and fellow runner. Track to me is an adventure because of the places it takes you and the ways in which it makes me push myself every day; it shows me how hard work materializes and gives me a way to bond with friends. In a more literal sense, running shows me new parts of the world when I go on community runs or find a new trail to run on. The sport is close to my heart and makes me feel like I'm on an adventure of self-improvement.
