My cousins were visiting from Minnesota. We went on a sightseeing tour by the bay at Seaport Village. We checked out some ships so I could show them what SD was all about. This relates to the theme of adventure. My nephew was excited to see the water and was pointing in the distance.

My picture was taken in 2023 at Disneyland. It shows my adventures while I walk underneath the castle to the other side to explore Disney. Being at Disney is everyone's wish come true, it's where happiness is, especially mine. Exploring Disney, going on rides, trying different foods and walking around to see the beauty of Disney is such an adventure for me.

My photo relates to adventure because the location of the main object in my photo is located in California Adventure. I was in my room and discovered some old paints in a drawer. I saw an old shoebox and I decided to just block off my thoughts and begin to paint. I was experimenting to create a unique type of photo I had never taken before. I let the brush flow and as I mixed multiple paints with my brush I saw it coming together. I wanted to get a unique picture of the paint while it was still wet. I think the "flow" represents people's lives as they venture into new experiences. I purposefully left the end of the blue flow up to interpretation. I did this because we only know where we have been and where we are going now. We have no idea what adventures the future holds for us.

This photo was taken at my school track during track and field practice. While I was photographing the athletes, I recognized that the sport was an outlet from the stressful school environment. Athletes doing the poll vault event were constantly raising the poll and trying to reach new limits. The excitement and their ability to push their limits exposed a new type of adventure that many athletes find excitement in. Although stress and academics pester students, they are able to go on new adventures of trying new sports and finding what they were passionate about.

My first day in Thailand I looked over the busy night traffic from a skybridge. Taking in the colors of the neon lights I decided to take a photo to capture my surroundings. I found myself in awe, the colors were so vibrant and gave off a cyberpunk vibe. This captures my first look on a foreign country and how there was so much to take in.

Ghost towns, like Calico, are a cool place to explore what is out there. The history shows what adventures were like in the past and give us new ones to travel. The hidden mines and caves are my favorite. The rocks and minerals found inside are so pretty. The dark holes inside are very scary. Adventures here never end.

When it all comes down to a challenge...snakes, birds and worst of all, humans...they can all come and try to swoop in and get you (talking from the squirrels POV). Got to be fast or else.....
