I'd say this image relates to adventure by showing the clear path on a hike but not being able to see the end, until you keep going. It’s like life. You don’t know what is ahead of you until you keep going. Life is an adventure, which is why this image represents adventure. The path may be long, but it'll be worth it in the end.

Using low light/long exposure photography, I wanted to capture the adventure of storytelling and the power words have. I used red LED lights, and swirled them coming from my mouth to represent the neverending imagination and creativity one could have with storytelling, leading listeners on beautiful stories of any kind. Storytelling in and of itself is one of the biggest and arguably most important adventures in human history. It drives imagination and allows our thoughts to be explored, exploration being a key component of adventure itself. Capturing the beginnings of a storyline in this photo, via the red swirling light, means portraying the beginning of a very compelling story and the power words have.

First Robotics Competition (FRC) is a global program aimed at promoting STEM in high schoolers, through an initial 6-week "build season," where teams build robust robots in conjunction with the year's theme and game. Within this specific competition, teams from California, Arizona, the Netherlands, Taipei, and China have all come together to compete. Each team, whether a new rookie team or a renowned veteran team, has explored their own unique journeys and hardships to be able to compete.

He was playing in my backyard and having a lot of fun. He was exploring every part of my back yard. Even when he is playing all by himself, he always finds a way to have an adventure.

In addition, riders can face obstacles and become stuck in a ride but surpass them. It could be through the assistance of others or through trusting yourself and being resilient. Amusement rides represent the pacing we choose to progress our adventure in. We could advance with persistence on a rollercoaster one day or find ourselves on something slow and steady, like a Ferris wheel the next. Whichever adventure we choose to embrace, we will inevitably reach the destination meant for us.
The radiant colors bestowed on each particular seat of the ride define that each personal journey accepts the equivalent amount of ups and downs that life unfolds to the individual. It is ultimately up to the individual to line up and show up every day to let the ride take them on their experience in part of what it has in store for their adventure.
