This is a teenager whose IQ puts him in the genius range. He is constantly challenging his mind to think more and enjoys coming up with solutions to complicated problems. His life revolves around investigation. As you can see, he is squinting in this photo while he is surrounded by socializing teenagers at school. It has been proven that squinting while thinking is a result of the brain trying to limit visual stimuli in order to free up mental resources. For this same reason, we often shut our eyes when we need to think really hard about a subject. I took this photo because I think this is a teen who truly embodies the investigative spirit.
