I chose to photograph a woman looking at a dead person (the hand in the photo) to tie into the theme of "Investigation." When I think of investigation, I usually think of cops and someone dying, so that why I chose to have a photo of a dead person. The woman is looking down at the hand, because she is examining his body. Also, I liked how the sun rays were coming down on the hand, given it a spotlight-y look.
