Description:
A lot of people think about tennis as an individual sport. It's not like soccer, basketball or football were you have 11 or more people on a field playing together. I think in tennis, the people on the outside count. I am from Germany, where we don't have any kind of sports teams in our school. This year, I was lucky enough to be part of the tennis team. I saw that even if you were not the person on the court playing, if you had tons of homework to do or if you were sick, at the tennis matches everybody would "participate". Even if that means just to sit next to the court and support the person playing. I think participating doesn't always mean doing something active. It can also mean just being there for somebody else. To participate in their "game" by simply being there.
