A lone sheep is a target,
Quick to be claimed by a larger beast,
but when they come together they create safety of the flock,
The choir of lambs work to save one another.
Together, they strive to become bigger than themselves

While a flock of sheep can have many different symbolic interpretations, I like the idea of them working and participating to protect one another. In this photo, you can see the sheep in the foreground eyeing me down cautiously. Shortly after this, he called to the others in warning and they all moved away. I find that if people had more of this quality - this urge to protect one another - the world would be a safer and better place. This photo was taken in Rhossili, Wales in December of 2018.
