I took this photograph at City Hall in Downtown Los Angeles on the first day of the LAUSD teacher strike. It was pouring rain, but still thousands of supporters came from all over the city to march for the rights of teachers and students.This photograph relates to the theme "Participate" because the woman in the photo is an educator participating in protesting for the good of her union.
