This photo was taken at my high school on the track field where many athletes were vigorously practicing. I captured the track and field athletes participating in workouts and practices together in preparation for upcoming events. This relates to this year’s contest theme, “Participation” in the sense that my school's very own athletes are participating in practice together and putting hard work. Student athletes have to put much effort into school and life to even be able to compete in sports such as track. Keeping up grades, being active in class, and keeping their minds as well as their bodies into the sport. Much more than just an image of students practicing, this image represents all it took for the students to be in that moment of focus and hard work.
