Brock Purdy was drafted as a quarterback, number 262 in the NFL draft as “Mr. Irrelevant.” This means he was the very last person to be drafted to a team in the 2022 NFL draft. At 22 years old, he expected to be riding the bench for a few years. Little did he know that the two starting quarterbacks would get injured early in the season and he would be the starting quarterback.

Brock brought his young and innovative way of thinking to the 49ers to become the 2022 NFC West Champions. He won 12 games in a row, beat many records, and won AP rookie of the year. Without Brock’s innovative way of thinking, the 49ers would have lost almost every game this season.
