My photo depicts a major canal in Venice, Italy. Venice is a very unique city, as it was built on water and there are no roads present. Innovation is a major part of the city as the creation of canals and waterways for boats to pass through, has allowed the people living there to travel to places more efficiently and made daily life much easier. Additionally, the advancements in boats, such as the popular water taxis, have further made travel there more efficient and play a big part in the lives of locals and tourists visiting. Therefore, innovation and advancements in transportation play a huge role in the setting that is depicted by my image.
