This photo was taken during a double rainbow after a storm

After digitally manipulating the photo in lightroom I achieved my desired results. The photo depicts, from left to right, a greyscale lamppost shifting into a very colorful rainbow and ending in darkness. Each of these three aspects represents a part of time. The uncolored lamppost representing the past. it remains without color to represent the stagnation of the past. The rainbow seems to emanate from the lamppost as it represents the present. Its varying colors represent the exciting advancement of the present. The final darkness spreading out from the previous two elements represents the future. The color of the rainbow may one day breach it as the future becomes the present, but for now the future remains unable to be observed. These three elements in combination outline the concept of innovation and development by figuratively describing its movement across our world.
