I am a member of the folklorico dance group in this picture. In the picture, my dance friends are cooperating with each other and dancing as a group. They are participating in a folk dance practice rehearsal. Participation means taking part in something, so I am a participant because I participate in this group by going to the dance class practices and by performing with my dance group wherever we are invited to perform.
