However beautiful cities can be, they contribute to light pollution, which makes it harder to see the stars. Light pollution is a collective action where every single person with one light can contribute to miles of light. My dad is participating in the light pollution by using his flashlight on a night hike. His flashlight brings the idea of how wherever humans are, they always leave pollution, whether it is in the form of light, trash, or other things, even when they are in nature. I named this piece "Jigsaw Junction" because the two main realities in our world, cities and nature, combine together through this photo. And many humans participate in this light pollution.
