My photo relates the the theme because I was unaware of what it was when I took the picture. I saw how at first only a small portion of the sky was covered and after my first class nearly the whole sky was covered in this thick smoke. It was remarkable that such a devastating event could be so beautiful in hind sight. I was not sure what had happened until later that morning when I found out that it was the Camp Fire in Paradise.

It was such a beautiful sky
Yet no one knew quite the reason why
The smoke was rising higher and higher
Then we knew that it was the fire
The victims had to stay strong
Even when it felt so wrong
This was the fire that struck Paradise
No one truly knows its price
